First home buyers in NSW may be exempt from stamp duty or eligible for a concession depending on the purchase price. Properties up to $800,000 may be fully exempt, and properties between $800,000 and $1,000,000 may receive a partial concession.

Stamp duty in NSW is generally due within 3 months of the contract date, or at settlement — whichever comes first.
